It is with great pleasure that we would like to share with you that the ICN annual booklet of 2022 is out!!!

2022 was the year when the world started to recover from the pandemic, but also the year when we could witness the outbreak of a war in Europe. Furthermore, it became clear that climate and environmental problems are not a problem of the past but are instead a problem of the present as well as of the future.

As our chairman, Mike Mulkay, pointed out “The years ahead promise to bring increasingly frequent and severe climate events, with the weight of the burden on vulnerable communities and people. The international trust that is being built, and the SMEs that are supported through the ICN, give us the platforms to turn these tough times into opportunities, and turn opportunities into success, creating an eco-system of action in the midst of challenging realities.”

During 2022 ICN became bigger and stronger. Our members continuously worked together to build trust and global cooperation. We had more than 300 users onboarded on ICN Solutions Platform. We welcomed a new member, Greennova Hub. We strengthened key partnerships such as the one with the Solar Impulse Foundation. We were represented in several key events, like COP 27 or the IWA World Water Congress and Exhibition. 2022 was also the year when ICN received its first project funding – the Every1 project – and we expect more to come in the following years.

Together, we aim to continuously contribute to a thriving environment and economy as well as flourishing communities by connecting ecosystems, strengthening innovation clusters, driving innovation, and accelerating cleantech deployment all around the globe.
